After leaving Yellowstone we picked up Apollo at the Cottonwood Ranch and headed another 20 miles north to the Chico Hot Spring Resort where we checked in for some R&R after three weeks in the Roadtrek. Chico is an off-beat resort with a terrific hot springs pool. The rooms in the main lodge (the place to stay) are a little funky with the bathroom down the hall. They didn’t mind that Apollo slept on the third bed in the room. Food was excellent. Joanne had duck and Mitch had halibut. We both got massages. Much needed after all that driving.
