The next day was a big travel day. Instead of stopping at the slots we visited another of Mitch’s many cousins. We had a nice visit with cousin Nina, her son Isaac, and his son Matty. Also there was Uncle Jerry.

We left Vegas in the late afternoon but had to make a stop a Trader Joe’s. While Joanne went in to buy her favorites, Mitch went to K-Mart to buy ant traps. We loaded up and set out for the Valley of Fires State Park nearby Overton, Nevada. We traveled into the deep desert and arrived  at the campgrounds after dark. After a RT gourmet dinner of lamb chops, salad, and farro we fell asleep exhausted.
