Early morning view through kitchen window
The campgrounds are located in a remote uninhabited desert surrounded by amazing red rock formations. It is so quiet you can actually hear the eerie sound of nothingness. The campsite offered no electricity, and water was obtained from a communal pump. This is what RV’ers call “boondocking.” During the night we woke up a star studded sky and in the early morning to breathtaking scenery surrounding us. After breakfast we hiked to some unusual rock formations and remarkably well preserved 4000 year old petroglyphs.
