Here, it is 1957, where vintage Chevys and Olds are parked on the street, Elvis mannequins play the guitar, and Marilyn is forever young and beautiful. Many of the stores sell 1950’s western kitsch and the restaurants offer advice and feature such delights as lemon meringue and banana cream pie. We ate breakfast at the Pine Country Restaurant and had their famous tamale omelet.
