El Morro Sunset

El Morro at Sunset

We continued traveling on Route 53 and set up camp in the El Morro National Monument campground. There was no water and no electricity — just a vaulted toilet — but that was clean and functional. Others there were tenting and we asked them (mostly Germans) if we could put on our generator so we could use our micro to defrost some food. Of course, they said yes. Ten minutes later, we had our chicken dinner and all was turned off. Silence and a gorgeous sunset. After a long day we all fell fast asleep.
