Caldwell County Court House in Lockhart

We left Austin and headed south on our way to Corpus Christi. On our way we stopped in Lockhart which many in central Texas believe is the BBQ Capital of the World, let alone Texas. And arguably, Smitty’s is the very best of all. We took out BBQ (brisket, pork shoulder, and sides- we’ve been on the Paleo diet the last few weeks in the Southwest).
