We left Kingston and traveled north to Algonquin Provincial Park, the oldest and one of the largest provincial parks in Canada. The Park opened 100 years ago. We stayed in Lake of Two Rivers Campground In the Southern more developed part of the park, along Highway 60. It was raining when we arrived, so we set up camp quickly and made dinner. We steamed vegetables and poached salmon in the microwave. With a tossed salad and a bottle of white wine it was a good dinner. After cleaning up, we hit the sack early. When we woke up the sun was shining.
