Today was a an R&R day for the RT. After leaving Winnipeg we headed west to the town of Brandon where we camped out for the night. The next morning, September 22nd, we continued going west to Regina, the provincial capital of Saskatchewan where we caught up on some needed choirs. We got an oil change for the RT, and a minor repair for a hanging cable under the carriage. Joanne went to a Telus (our cellular provider in Canada) store to get another gig of data.
Afterwards we headed west about 40 miles to the town of Moose Jaw where we got an RV site for the night.
Before dinner, Mitch brought the van to a do it on your own, drive-thru car wash where he got most of the mud off (which was the result of the GPS taking us six miles down a muddy, unpaved, dirt road instead of a paved highway about a half mile further away when we were camping in Ile des Chenes, just outside of Winnipeg). Tomorrow we continue heading west on the prairie which is long and flat.
