We took a stroll with Mitch’s Aunt Ruth, who just had celebrated her 94th birthday. Later, we made a stop at Uncle Ike’s to see how the legalization of marijuana was being marketed. Pot must be sold separately from head shop paraphernalia so there is a companion head shop next door to Uncle Ike’s. We took a look around.

We then made a stop at a Molly Moon’s ice cream store. The ice cream was great and for vegans there was the outstanding coconut chip and a few other flavors. Mitch, “Mr. Cool and Creamy,” gave Molly’s 9.5 on the ice cream scale. Afterwards, we hit a thrift store where you can get some old and weird digs, used books, etc., a strong wiff of moth balls, and a photo op or two.

On Friday we made a visit to the Seattle Asian Art Museum where we viewed a showing of Ink, History and Media, the political art of Chen Shaoxiong, and an installation by Ai Wei Wei.
That night we had a sensational dinner at Margorie’s, one of the hot restaurants in the city. This time Mitch did not hesitate, and gave Margorie’s a solid 10. Why can’t we get black cod (aka sable, butterfish) back east?
