After Memphis we drove to Knoxville and had dinner with Stuart Kaplan, Mitch’s friend since Junior High School. The next day, after 10 hours of driving with stops, we finally made our last stop before going home- the 1950’s style Oakland Diner which is a few miles from our house. Over Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches, we reminisced about the trip and enjoyed all the paintings on the Diner walls that were amazingly in sync with the last week of our trip. Take a look.

Hey you Roadtrekkers,
Another great trip and it seems that retirement is serving you well. When will we get to vicariously experience another roadtrek adventure?
